NBC Universal has finally launched the NBC Sports and NBC app on Amazon Fire TV stick and Fire TV. The Fire TV users will now able to access the content from these networks on demand. Apart from this, users can also get live programming from NBC sports live by logging in through the cable, satellite or telecom credentials.
The launch of NBC Sports Live on Fire TV devices has come to the fore before the starting of upcoming NHL Winter Classic and NBC playoffs. This includes wild-card game and the Divisional game. In Live Extra, you will get 3000 live events per year with access to stream all the live sports broadcasted by NBC, Golf channel and NBCSN. It also includes Summer and winter Olympics with Post and pre-season coverage of NFL’s. NHL regular, Post-season games including Stanley cup, the premier league, original programming, LPGA, PGA Tour, FedEx cup, The Dan Patrick show, Men in Blazers and Studio content from different properties.
Either it is NHL winter classic or NFL playoffs, and Summer Olympics, the partnership with Amazon Fire will allow you to watch the favorite content on your TV screen wherever and whenever you want. This has been disclosed by Rick Cordella, SVP, and GM at NBC Sports Group.
All the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV stick users can log in through the cable TV provider and stream complete episodes of their favorites including ‘Chicago fire’, ‘The Blacklist’ and the ‘The Voice’. Apart from this, users are getting the facility to watch the show day after it is aired. You can watch ‘Heroes Reborn’, The Carmichael show’, ‘Superstore’ and the ‘Shades of Blue’. All these episodes are available in Spanish and English language.
Complete Episodes of Late night programming can also be streamed the next day after it is aired. Like for example, Tonight show, Late Night, SNL moments. The NBC app for Amazon Fire TV will allow you to watch more than 40 series and 1000 episodes. The library keeps on updating as the shows keep on increasing.
According to Rob Hayes, VP at NBC entertainment, this adoption has been proven a success for the connected device platforms and NBC app on Fire TV is just launched before the beginning of holiday binging season. If you love to watch ‘Blindspot’ then you can fulfill your wish by watching complete episodes on your Fire TV stick. Other shows include ‘Saturday Night’, ‘The Tonight Show’, ‘Superstore’ and the ‘Telenovela’.
Full access to the content on the NBC app will be available to the Amazon Fire TV users by logging onto Pay TV credentials from anywhere. The media industry is stressing on presenting the high-quality content to the Authenticated customers both inside and outside the home on multiple platforms.
